🧠 About Me — Living and Learning with ADHD
Hi, I’m Carmen — a lifelong notebook hoarder, overthinker, and someone who spent years silently struggling with undiagnosed ADHD.
Like many adults with ADHD, I thought I was lazy, inconsistent, and just “bad at life.” I wasn’t. I just didn’t have the right tools or understanding of how my neurodivergent brain actually worked.
When I finally started learning about adult ADHD symptoms, executive dysfunction, and emotional dysregulation, everything clicked — and I wanted to share that clarity with others.
✨ Why I Created Upliria
Upliria exists to make ADHD easier to live with — not just understand.
This blog is for:
- Adults wondering if they might have ADHD
- Women and girls often misdiagnosed or missed entirely
- People looking for real-world ADHD strategies, not vague advice
- Anyone who’s tired of trying harder and still feeling behind
Here, you’ll find:
- Unusual signs of ADHD people often overlook
- Self-diagnosis tools and helpful checklists
- Practical routines and mental health tips for distracted minds
- Encouragement that doesn’t feel condescending
If you’ve ever opened 17 tabs and done nothing… you’re in the right place.
🌱 What You Can Expect
My goal is to help you:
- Understand your brain
